NFL's one of the most popular and oldest franchises is the Green Bay Packers, who have been twelve times NFL World Champions. This American football team has been playing for almost a century now, and their biggest victories include the three consecutive wins in the year 1929 - 1931. In addition, the team has eight conference titles for NFC and NFL Western, and an impressive twenty five appearances in the play-offs over the years. Green Bay Packers has outperformed thrice in the Super Bowl games as well, by taking home the trophy.

In 1960s, the Packers won around five World Championships in seven years, and ever since considered as one of the strongest football teams in American History. In the late nineties, once again Packers picked pace and their twelfth World Championship victory in Super Bowl XXXI made them the only NFL franchise to hold such an honor that no other team has been able to break to date. With such a high success rate, it is impossible for a team to not have fierce rivalries. Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings are some of their major rivals. The Green Bay Packers are truly the benchmarks of high performance in American football, whose action-packed games are a treat to watch for football enthusiasts.
